L'Hopital's rule is a useful tool for computing limits with indeterminate forms.  In fact, it is too useful.  The speaker demonstrates how some of these limits can be computed without this rule.  This talk is a shameless ruse designed to introduce the 0-1 Law of finite model theory as well as expose the unwitting members of the audience to some very beautiful mathematics.
